Get Outside!

Walking is the easiest form of movement. Whether you walk through a beautiful forest, local park, mountain trail, neighborhood street or a backyard, there is opportunity to notice.

If you walk for exercise, leave your phone at home. What, no music? What if someone calls me? That is the point! You cannot be reached without your phone. What is your ability to connect with the surroundings, really see the people and creatures you pass, hear their sounds, the leaves rustling, or the bike riding up behind you?

Challenge for the week: Get outside and let your mind quiet down and notice what beauty lies around you. Repeat daily.
